Blood Oxygen Test
Measurement Environment: To validate the accuracy of GloRing’s blood oxygen monitoring, tests were conducted in both normal oxygen conditions and in a controlled low-oxygen environment using a professional-grade hypoxic generator (commonly used for altitude training simulations).
Results: GloRing delivered highly precise SpO₂ readings, with results closely matching those of traditional medical-grade oximeters. This minimal variance demonstrates the ring’s exceptional accuracy and reliability.
Reliability Test
Consistency Criteria: To ensure measurement reliability, GloRing’s resting heart rate readings were compared against those from a standard professional heart rate clip. For consistency, results were considered accurate if they matched or were within ±5 BPM (beats per minute) of the reference device.
Results: GloRing demonstrated excellent performance in monitoring resting heart rate, delivering results nearly identical to professional-grade monitors. When worn correctly, the ring consistently captured precise readings—reinforcing its reliability as a trusted tool for daily health tracking and cardiovascular awareness.
Accuracy Test
Test Purpose: This test evaluated GloRing’s ability to track heart rate across varying levels of physical activity—from a resting state, through high-intensity exercise, and back to a recovery phase. The goal was to observe how accurately the ring reflects real-time cardiovascular changes during dynamic movement.
Results: When graphed alongside data from a professional-grade HRM chest belt, GloRing’s heart rate readings showed a strong correlation, closely following the same pattern throughout the exercise cycle. This consistent performance in high-motion scenarios confirms GloRing’s effectiveness as a reliable tool for fitness tracking, making it a valuable companion for both everyday workouts and peak performance monitoring.
